In this painting, I explore the fleeting beauty of light as it filters through an imagined landscape. Layers of turquoise, soft blues and delicate greens intertwine with shimmering touches of yellow and gold, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar and elusive.
Through countless small, textured marks and subtle shifts in colour, I allow the landscape to emerge and dissolve, as though glimpsed through fragments of memory. There is a gentle rhythm between movement and stillness, where light seems to dance across the canvas before disappearing into softer, quieter passages.
Rather than depicting a particular place, I wanted to evoke the warmth, serenity and quiet wonder of a moment remembered — when sunlight transforms the ordinary into something almost magical.
