In Echoes of Spring, I have sought to capture the effervescent energy of a garden in bloom, translating the fleeting magic of nature into a permanent, tactile experience.
In A Glimpse of Elsewhere, I explore the mysterious spaces between what we see and what we remember. Layers of deep teal, turquoise, smoky blues and golden ochre surround a passage of diffused light, creating the impression of a landscape slowly revealing itself.
Working with a palette knife, I build a richly textured surface where colours overlap, fragments emerge and forms dissolve into one another. The contrast between the dense, intricate passages and the softer luminosity creates a sense of movement, depth and quiet discovery.
For me, this painting is about those fleeting moments when a place feels strangely familiar, yet remains just beyond recognition. An impression suspended somewhere between reality and imagination.
