In Lost in Sensuality, I wanted to explore the feeling of total surrender—the moment when you stop overthinking and let your senses take the lead. This painting is an interpretation of warmth, touch, and the hazy, golden glow of a memory that feels almost tangible. I worked with a palette of deep ambers, soft corals, and scorched earth tones, layering them to create a surface that glows from within.
My palette knife was an extension of my own intuition here; I sculpted the oils into a rich, atmospheric texture that blurs the line between light and shadow.
As I painted, I felt a deep, grounded sense of intimacy, as if I were capturing the very essence of a sunset-soaked afternoon. There is a weight to these colors, a richness that I hope feels like a warm embrace.
This piece is my way of inviting you to get lost in the layers, to feel the heat of the ochres and the softness of the highlights, and to find a space where the world feels both beautiful and deeply felt.
